Thoughtful Financial Education, Grounded in Singapore
Monetica was established to serve individuals and families who recognise the value of structured financial education — and who want to engage with their financial lives from a position of informed clarity.
Back to HomeBuilt on a Straightforward Premise
Monetica was founded by practitioners who spent years working alongside individuals and families navigating significant financial decisions. What they observed, repeatedly, was that the most consequential errors were rarely made from lack of intelligence — they stemmed from gaps in structured understanding.
Financial products are widely available in Singapore. Financial education — delivered impartially, without a product to sell — is harder to find. Monetica was created to fill that gap.
We do not hold a capital markets services or financial advisory licence. We are not affiliated with any bank, fund house, or insurance provider. This independence is not incidental — it is central to how we work.
Education That Serves the Learner
Informed Decision-Making
We aim to equip participants with the frameworks and context to engage their own advisers and make well-considered decisions — not to create dependency on any single source of guidance.
Impartial Perspective
Because Monetica does not earn commission or revenue from financial products, the analysis and perspectives we share are free of commercial influence.
Singapore Context
Every programme is designed with Singapore's regulatory, tax, CPF, and investment environment in mind — not adapted from generic international frameworks.

Each facilitator brings direct, relevant experience — not generalised training credentials. Their knowledge informs how content is structured and delivered.

How We Maintain Programme Quality
Every aspect of programme design and delivery is held to defined standards — reviewed regularly against participant outcomes and industry developments.
PDPA Compliance
All participant data is handled in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. Data is never shared with third parties without explicit consent.
Regular Content Review
Programme materials are reviewed at least twice annually to reflect changes in Singapore's regulatory environment, market conditions, and planning frameworks.
Controlled Group Sizes
Workshop sessions are kept to small cohorts to preserve the quality of facilitated dialogue and ensure all participants have adequate time and space to engage.
Structured Feedback Loops
Participants complete structured feedback surveys at mid-point and conclusion of each programme. Insights directly inform content and facilitation adjustments.
Clear Programme Terms
Programme scope, fees, session schedules, and material inclusions are communicated in writing before enrolment — with no ambiguity in what participants are committing to.
Session Confidentiality
Information shared by participants during sessions — including financial positions, personal circumstances, and goals — is treated as strictly confidential by all team members.
Financial Education in Singapore's Context
Singapore presents a particular set of financial planning considerations — CPF structures, housing policies tied to nationality and residency, estate duty abolition, stamp duty rules, and one of Asia's most developed wealth management ecosystems. These factors interact in ways that require local knowledge, not generic international frameworks.
Monetica's programmes are built around Singapore's specific landscape. The Couples Financial Alignment Workshop addresses questions around CPF nomination, HDB co-ownership arrangements, and joint versus separate account considerations that are particular to this market. The Understanding Market Cycles programme draws on SGX-listed securities, Asian market dynamics, and the role of MAS policy in shaping the local investment environment.
The Comprehensive Wealth Structuring engagement goes further — addressing Singapore-based trust arrangements, offshore versus domestic asset allocation, family office considerations, and intergenerational transfer mechanisms available under local law.
We work with participants across income and asset levels. Financial education is not a luxury for the already-wealthy — it is a practical tool for anyone who wants to engage with their financial life more deliberately and with greater confidence.
Curious About a Programme?
We suggest starting with a brief conversation — it typically takes fifteen to twenty minutes and helps both sides determine whether a programme is a suitable fit.
